Made of engineering polymer, it offers a good balance of lightness, durability, chemical resistance, and compatibility with standard tubes up to 5 mL (maximum diameter 17 mm). Thanks to its fixed 41° angle and a centrifugal radius ranging from 4.2 cm to 8.3 cm, it achieves a maximum centrifugal force of 20,326 × g, sufficient for precipitation, washing, DNA/RNA isolation, or purification. The rotor accommodates up to 10 x 5 mL tubes, making it a suitable choice for intermediate volumes while maintaining a compact footprint. A key feature of this rotor is its “ClickSeal” lid: a certified biocontainment system that ensures an aerosol-proof seal, protecting both the user and the sample—an essential criterion for sensitive molecular biology, diagnostic, or clinical sample work. The quick-release, push-to-open mechanism facilitates handling, even with gloves.
