The classic version uses a standard piston system, while the "E" version (Microman E) has positive displacement, particularly suited to viscous, non-aqueous or volatile liquids. The device's ergonomics reduce fatigue during prolonged handling, which is a real advantage in intensive use. It is compatible with a wide range of volumes (e.g. 1-10 µL, 10-100 µL, etc.) depending on the model, which allows it to be used in various protocols. The Microman is also designed to be easy to maintain and calibrate, ensuring a long service life and stable performance. The positive displacement version (Microman E) protects against cross-contamination, with a disposable capillary-piston, making it a good choice for delicate liquids.
