The Labnet MPS 1000™ Mini Plate Spinner is a compact centrifuge designed for PCR plates. It allows for the rapid settling of droplets and condensates before or after thermal cycles, accepts standard, skirted, or skirtless PCR plates, and reaches speeds of up to 2,500 rpm (500 × g). Its small size and weight of 3 kg make it a practical solution for molecular biology laboratories.
Reconditioning and verification

All of our reconditioned centrifuges are tested according to Decree 2008-244 with more than 30 control points. These tests ensure optimal operation in complete safety.

In the event of an irreparable breakdown or unavailable spare part, we will refund the cost of the device and arrange for a return.

The Labnet MPS 1000™ Mini Plate Spinner is a benchtop centrifuge specifically designed for handling PCR plates. It is used to quickly remove droplets and condensation from wells, both before and after PCR cycles, to improve reaction quality and yield. The unit can accommodate up to two PCR plates simultaneously and is compatible with standard, skirted, and non-skirted plates. The centrifuge operates at a speed of 2,500 rpm, corresponding to a centrifugal force of 500 × g, sufficient for plate-specific applications without risk of sample damage. Thanks to its very compact size (19 × 21 × 18.3 cm), the MPS 1000 occupies less than a quarter of the footprint of conventional plate centrifuges. Weighing only 3 kg (6 lbs), it is easy to move and integrate into the benchtop. Power is available in 120V or 230V, 50–60Hz.
