IKA Eurostar 40 Propeller Stirrer

The IKA Eurostar 40 digital is a universal laboratory stirrer designed for simple yet demanding mixing tasks. It can handle up to 25 liters of water, making it suitable for chemical, pharmaceutical, or biotechnology laboratories. Its brushless DC motor ensures high efficiency and reduced wear. It consumes approximately 118 W input power, with an effective power of 84 W at the shaft. The speed range extends from 0 or 30 rpm up to 2000 rpm, with stepless speed control and an accuracy of approximately ±1 rpm for speeds above 300 rpm, or ±3 rpm below 300 rpm. It can handle viscosities up to 30,000 mPa·s and delivers a maximum torque of 40 Ncm at the shaft. The chuck accepts rods or tools with diameters ranging from 0.5 mm to 10 mm, while the 11 mm internal diameter hollow shaft allows for push-through configurations when the unit is stationary. Structurally, the housing is made of coated die-cast aluminum or thermoplastic polymer, ensuring both lightness and strength. Its external dimensions are 86 mm wide × 248 mm high × 208 mm deep, with an approximate weight of 4.0 to 4.4 kg depending on the version. It operates in an ambient temperature range of 5 to 40 °C with a maximum relative humidity of 80% and has an IP40 or IP42 protection rating, depending on the configuration.
