Reconditioning and verification

Our refurbished refrigerators and freezers are thoroughly inspected and decontaminated. A temperature test is conducted over several hours using COFRAC-calibrated probes. The inspection report is provided with the appliance.

In the event of a non-repairable breakdown or an unavailable spare part, we will refund the device and arrange for its return. Products marked as "new-obsolete" (factory seconds) come with a 24-month warranty.
A 24-month warranty extension is available for all products. Please specify this in your quote request.
Delivery and installation

Delivery is carried out by parcel or pallet. Delivery times will be communicated to you after you have submitted a quote request.
For heavy or bulky equipment, request on-site installation!
Cosmetic condition
The PHCbi MDF-1156 is a 128-liter chest cryogenic freezer designed for the ultra-low temperature storage of sensitive biological samples: cells, tissues, strains, or genetic material. Thanks to a cascade mechanical refrigeration system, it reaches -152°C without liquid nitrogen. The temperature is adjustable from -125 to -155°C, and the interior remains below -130°C. It holds up to 81 2-inch boxes on aluminum racks. The microprocessor controller with non-volatile memory, LED display, and Pt-100 sensor ensure precise temperature control. The refrigeration circuit uses a CFC-free refrigerant blend, with 1100 W of compressors. 175 mm of injected polyurethane insulation, an inner lid, and a lockable outer door minimize cold loss. A 40 mm access port on the left side allows for an independent probe. Sample safety is supported by multiple alarms (power failure, high temperature, clogged filter) with visual and audible signals and a remote alarm contact. The unit operates on 230 V / 50 Hz, emits 52 dB(A), and rests on 6 casters, 2 of which include leveling feet.
