Reconditioning and verification

All our refurbished thermal cyclers are decontaminated and then operationally tested. We verify overshoot, ramp rate, deviation from mean, and temperature uniformity. A test report documents the results obtained.

In the event of an irreparable breakdown or a spare part being unavailable, we will refund the device and take it back. Products marked as "new-open box" come with a 24-month warranty.
A 24-month warranty extension is available for all products. Please specify this in your quote request.

Delivery is carried out by parcel or pallet. Delivery times will be communicated to you after you have submitted a quote request.

The Applied Biosystems QuantStudio 5 is a real-time quantitative PCR system designed for laboratories conducting gene expression studies, SNP genotyping, or DNA/RNA quantification. This version is equipped with a 384-well block that accepts reaction volumes from 5 to 20 µl, offering high throughput while reducing reagent consumption. The system ensures excellent thermal performance with an accuracy of 0.25 °C, uniformity of 0.4 °C, a ramp rate of up to 6 °C/s, and a range of 4 °C to 100 °C. Its intuitive touchscreen interface allows for launching and monitoring analyses directly on the instrument, while connectivity to the Thermo Fisher Cloud platform facilitates secure remote access, analysis, and data sharing. Compact (50 x 27 x 40 cm, 26 kg) and powered by 100-240 V, the QuantStudio 5 integrates easily onto a laboratory bench.
