The VWR UV-1600PC UV-Visible spectrophotometer is a high-performance analytical instrument designed for absorbance and transmittance measurements in the fields of chemistry, biochemistry, pharmacy, and quality control. Thanks to its wide spectral range of 190 to 1100 nm, it allows for both ultraviolet and visible analyses, offering great versatility for routine and educational applications. Equipped with a single-beam optical system and a silicon photodiode detector with a diffraction grating (1200 lines/mm), the device ensures good sensitivity and high measurement precision. Its wavelength accuracy of ±0.5 nm and photometric stability of ±0.002 A/h at 500 nm ensure reliable results for quantitative analysis. The UV-1600PC offers several measurement modes such as photometry, quantification, and kinetics, and can store up to 200 results and 200 calibration curves. Data can be easily transferred to a computer via a USB interface, allowing for the processing and archiving of results. Designed for daily use, this instrument comes with glass and quartz optical cuvettes, a multi-position cuvette holder, and PC control software, and can be equipped with optional accessories such as an automatic cuvette changer to increase laboratory productivity.
