The Eppendorf New Brunswick S41i is a 170 L CO2 shaker-incubator designed for the culture of mammalian and insect cells in suspension. It provides temperature control from 4 °C above ambient up to 50 °C, with stability and accuracy in the range of ±0.1 to ±0.2 °C, as well as CO2 control from 0.2 to 20%. Orbital shaking, adjustable from 25 to 400 rpm on a 25 mm orbit, is provided by a drive designed to operate continuously in the hot and humid environment of the incubator. The chamber accommodates a 61 x 36 cm platform (1 shelf as standard, 2 maximum) compatible with vessels up to 5 L. Operated by an intuitive touchscreen, it features a high-temperature (120 °C) disinfection cycle and an Ethernet interface for data export. Stackable up to three units, it allows for optimized floor space. Dimensions: 875 x 730 x 850 mm (W x D x H), weight: 154 kg, power supply 230 V, 50/60 Hz.
