The Eppendorf Xplorer Plus Move It is a high-end, multi-channel electronic micropipette designed to optimize liquid handling workflows in laboratories where formats change frequently. It allows manual adjustment of tip spacing from approximately 4.5 mm to approximately 33 mm, depending on the model, enabling rapid transfer between tubes, 96-well plates, or 384-well plates without changing instruments. Its so-called "air-cushion" mechanism without tubing between cone and piston reduces moving parts, thus optimizing the accuracy, durability and safety of the sample. The pipette head rotates 360°, allowing for optimal orientation of the screen and controls, improving ergonomics and reducing user fatigue. It offers several channel variants (4, 6, 8 or 12 channels) and covers various volume ranges (for example 15-300 µL for the 8 channel model 4861000818): a concrete example lists "8-channel, 15-300 µL × 9 mm" for the code EP4861000818. Adjusting the cone spacing is quick and vibration-free via a manual adjustment knob and a format limiter, allowing for efficient switching from source format to destination format. The Move It models are compatible with autoclaving (depending on the version, for the lower part on the Xplorer Plus) and come with Eppendorf's PhysioCare ergonomic concept.
