The BioSan ES-20/80 Shaker Incubator is a versatile laboratory instrument designed to provide controlled incubation with reliable shaking for a wide range of scientific applications. It is particularly well-suited for culturing biological samples (microorganisms or cells), sample preparation, protein expression studies, and various mixing and incubation operations in biology, chemistry, and biotechnology. The system utilizes a triple eccentric mechanism for platform movement, ensuring excellent balance, high reliability, and quiet operation, even at high speeds. Its stable design allows up to three units to be stacked to save laboratory space. The unit features an intuitive color TFT display and an easy-to-use interface with clear parameter settings, logging, and time-based data display. It includes imbalance sensors and automatic thermostat failure detection for enhanced safety during operation. The controlled temperature range typically extends from +25°C to +80°C, with uniform temperature distribution ensured by a heat-resistant brushless fan for reproducible results, and sample uniformity of approximately ±0.3°C at 37°C. Orbital motion is adjustable from 50 to 400 rpm (in 10 rpm increments), with a 20 mm orbit, allowing for precise adjustment of the agitation intensity to suit experimental requirements. The robust stainless steel internal chamber is easy to clean, while the electronic controller and PID-optimized motor guarantee exceptional temperature stability with a tuning resolution of 0.1°C. Furthermore, Bluetooth connectivity enables remote parameter management, data logging, and cycle profiling via dedicated software (PC required).
