The VWR Ergonomic High Performance 8-channel pipette is designed for the rapid filling of microplates (e.g., 96-well plates) and the simultaneous handling of samples. It offers variable volume adjustment (typical ranges: 0.5–10 µL, 5–50 µL, 20–200 µL, 50–300 µL) depending on the model. It incorporates an improved ergonomic mechanism, low ejection force, and a lightweight handle to reduce fatigue during intensive use. Designed to ensure accuracy and reproducibility in laboratories.
Reconditioning and verification

Our pipettes are systematically decontaminated, cleaned, and tested. Pipette calibration can be performed upon request before shipment.

The VWR Ergonomic High Performance 8-channel multichannel pipette is a high-quality liquid handling instrument designed to maximize productivity while ensuring optimal ergonomics. Thanks to its eight channels, it allows for the simultaneous aspiration and dispensing of eight samples, which is particularly efficient for microplate filling, reagent preparation, or serial operations. From the perspective of volume ranges, the 8-channel variants typically cover: 0.5-10 µL, 5-50 µL, 20-200 µL and 50-300 µL. These options allow the instrument to be adapted to different experimental formats, from small volumes to larger concentrations. The instrument relies on an air-cushion mechanism that ensures the liquid does not come into contact with the piston, thus enhancing safety and longevity. Ergonomically, the pipette incorporates: an optimized tip ejection button to reduce effort, volume and ejection pushers designed to limit fatigue, and a volume setting lock to prevent accidental changes during use. It also comes with a certificate of conformity and calibration key, which ensures its accuracy and conformity to standards (e.g. EN ISO 8655 standard) for multi-channel models. Regarding performance, the documentation indicates that for the 8-channel version in the 5-50 µL range, for example, accuracy can be in the order of ±1.6% for the maximum volume, and repeatability (precision) in the order of ≤0.6% depending on the test conditions. This makes this pipette suitable for demanding applications: PCR, ELISA, microplate preparation, cell culture, etc. Finally, it is designed for intensive laboratory use, thanks to its robust construction and compatibility with certain sterilization methods (depending on the model), making it a good choice in research or production environments where the pace is high and reliability is paramount.
