It uses a strain gauge weighing system offering a repeatability of 0.1 g and a linearity of ± 0.3 g, ensuring reliable results for educational, clinical, or light industrial applications. The balance's flat and compact design (approximately 170 × 245 × 39 mm) makes it easy to install on a benchtop or work table. The plastic weighing pan has a diameter of approximately 150 mm, and the balance is equipped with an LCD display with 15 mm digits for clear readability of measurements. The user-friendly interface, with just two buttons for tare and basic functions, makes it accessible to non-specialist users. The balance includes a tare function to compensate for the weight of a container, and a hook for weighing underneath the unit is included as standard, increasing its versatility. The unit operates on a 9V battery (included) or an optional AC adapter (not included) and features an auto-off function to conserve battery power.
