Exacta BBASIC60 security cabinet

The EXACTA BBASIC60 safety cabinet, part of the BG Series, is designed for the secure storage of gas cylinders in laboratories or industrial environments. Its structure is made of 1.5 mm thick electro-galvanized steel sheet, cold-formed and degreased, ensuring good mechanical resistance. The exterior finish is achieved with an epoxy resin and thermosetting powder coating, cured by passing through a thermal tunnel at 200°C, in RAL 7035 gray. The cabinet features a monobloc construction and is equipped with leveling feet, allowing for stable installation on various types of flooring. It has solid hinged doors that open to 110°, facilitating access to the cylinders, and a key-locking system to secure storage. The external hinges, made of corrosion-resistant plastic, contribute to the overall durability. To improve ergonomics during loading and handling, the BBASIC60 cabinet features a fold-down front ramp made of sheet steel, as well as internal securing chains to hold the cylinders in a vertical position. The internal dimensions are 530 × 540 × 1850 mm, allowing for a storage capacity of 1 to 2 gas cylinders, depending on their size. The cabinet weighs 80 kg. Regarding ventilation, the technical specifications indicate that the cabinet can be equipped with an optional ventilation unit. The EN 14470-2 standard mandates mechanical ventilation ensuring an air exchange rate of 120 times the cabinet's volume per hour. The cabinet can be connected either to an existing extraction system or to a dedicated ventilation unit, positioned directly on the connection flange, with a neoprene gasket ensuring a tight seal. This ventilation system helps extend the cabinet's lifespan and allows the user to benefit from the 3-year manufacturer's warranty.
