The JASCO V-630 is a V-600 series UV-Vis/NIR spectrophotometer, designed to be a general-purpose, economical and compact instrument (dimensions 486 × 441 × 216 mm for 15 kg). It combines excellent spectroscopic performance with ease of use, suitable for routine, quality control (QC) and research applications. It features an IQ Accessory function for automatic accessory recognition and IQ Start to immediately start recorded measurements. Technically, it uses a single monochromator optical configuration (1200 lines/mm concave grating, modified Rowland mount) and a silicon photodiode detector, covering a wavelength range from 190 to 1100 nm with an accuracy of ±0.2 nm. It offers fast scanning up to 8000 nm/min without tracking error. Various accessories (cell holders, flow cells, temperature controllers) are available to optimize its applications. Built-in validation automatically verifies instrument performance, essential for laboratories compliant with GMP/GLP standards.
