Thermo Scientific Finnpipette F1 8-channel micropipette

The Finnpipette F1 8-channel is a variable volume multichannel mechanical pipette manufactured by Thermo Fisher. It is designed for demanding laboratory applications with multi-well plates, for repetitive and precise liquid handling. It is available in several typical volume ranges: 1-10 µL, 5-50 µL, 10-100 µL, 30-300 µL. The body is lightweight and ergonomic to reduce fatigue, with a 120° adjustable finger rest for comfort. Volume adjustment is via a push-button that can be raised to adjust the volume and then pressed to lock (secure volume lock). The adjustment mechanism is quiet and requires less force than previous versions. Compatible tips can be standard Finntip, Finntip Flex, with or without filter, depending on the range. For low-volume models, a super blow-out function is included to ensure complete dispensing of even small volumes and avoid capillary effects. Tip ejection is designed to require little effort to limit stress on the thumb. Regarding precision and accuracy, specifications follow ISO 8655, with typical tolerances given for each range (e.g. for the 30-300 µL version: ±3.0 µL maximum inaccuracy and approximately ±1.0% coefficient of variation).
