The Falcon Pipet Controller is a lightweight, ergonomic motorized pipette controller designed for use with glass or plastic serological pipettes ranging from 0.5 to 100 mL. It allows for control of aspiration and dispensing speeds via manual triggers. It features a large LCD display showing battery status, operating mode, and selected speed. Several accessible switches allow for quick mode or speed changes to accommodate liquids of different viscosities or varying volumes. It operates on a rechargeable Li-ion battery, with an operating time of up to 6 to 8 hours depending on the version and use. Operational parts such as filters, the pipet holder, and the nose piece are autoclavable, which helps maintain sterility and facilitates maintenance. The controller is supplied with accessories such as a charging stand (2 positions depending on the model), a universal charger, a set of batteries, a PTFE hydrophobic filter (0.2 µm), sometimes other filters, as well as a wall bracket or hook depending on the version.
